Natural Zing

For those of you out there who have yet to be introduced to this wonderful company, let me be the first to tell you about how wonderful it is! Natural Zing is located in rural Maryland. It is run by a couple that started eating raw foods about 5 years ago and subsequently founded this wonderful company. I have yet to have the pleasure to meet them but I will soon I am sure! They are going to be present at the Raw Spirit Festival and they were at the DC Green Festival. Come to think of it, I may have met Jeff at the DC Green Festival (without realizing it of course!). I was still pretty new to raw foods then and wasn’t aware that I was meeting as many East Coast raw guru’s as I was. I met Wendi Dee of Pure Jeevan and Rawbin and I am sure I probably met Jeff. Little known to me, his radiant wife Helen had just given birth to their second child only weeks before. If you haven’t seen her children’s blog I highly recommend it!

The selection of products that Natural Zing has is wonderful! You don’t have to be a raw vegan to enjoy these products! There is something for everyone! I have a friend whose child is allergic to both soy and wheat. She was telling me about how he loves chocolate but she is never able to find anything he can eat. I was able to point her in Natural Zings direction for chocolate and she was thrilled!! On top of that, the chocolate was raw (i.e. no caffeine, no sugar) so she was giving her son something wonderful for him (and super tasty)!!

I have been ordering from Natural Zing for about 3 months now and have been thoroughly impressed. Their customer service is excellent, it is a sustainable business, they have a farm and hold community events… the list just goes on and on! I am so happy that I found them and even happier that they are located so close to me! When I order stuff I have it the next day (assuming it’s a business day) and I always absolutely LOVE what I get! They run specials throughout the year and have opportunities for individuals to become wholesalers or sales associates. After ordering from them a few times, I decided to become a sales associate. I don’t push the fact though because I don’t want people thinking all I am trying to do is make a quick buck. That isn’t the case. This is a truly wonderful company and I tell everyone about them because of this fact!

For those of you who like chocolatlye things, I highly recommend trying some of their offerings! I get my cocao powder and cubes and butter from them. I also get my maca from them. I posted a recipe in the not so distant past for my Cocoa-Maca Milk. If you haven’t tried it, you absolutely MUST!! It’s divine! I also get my almonds from them, I don’t have to worry about if they are pasteurized or not that way! Treat yourself to some of the best products Gaia has to offer! I know I do!
